Rare Chick Special chicks need the same basic care as other baby chicks. Before they arrive, prepare a warm brooder with clean bedding, fresh water, chick starter feed, and safe feeders and waterers.
As the chicks grow, provide enough space, predator-resistant housing, proper nutrition, and roosting room based on the size and type of birds included.
