Normally grown fowl are shipped out Express Mail through the post office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Fowl can be in different states of plumage at the time of shipment. Molting is common (dropping feathers and growing new ones) and we cannot guarantee feathering condition at the time of shipment. The biggest % of the cost is shipping. These cannot be picked up at the hatchery. They are shipped from affiliated farms. This page is for buying only grown fowl. Please refer back to other pages in the site to buy baby chicks. Again this page is only for Cackle Hatchery®'s listing of available grown birds for sale.
All grown birds are juveniles (up to one year old), and depending on the season of the year and age of the birds, they will likely NOT be in full feather.
All started pullets are between 15 to 22 weeks old and have been vaccinated for Marek's disease with no additional cost to you.
