Great birds
I ordered a weekly special, heavy bodied pullets (15), and a 5 broad breasted bargain special turkeys. All the birds including the three extra pullets and one extra turkey are doing great. I have them in the greenhouse in a pen 5x10ft with a heat lamp they can get under when the temperature drops at night. The turkeys are little excape artists. I am very pleased.

Excellent as always Cackle Hatchery
We just received our chicks, there were 18 total, not sure of which breed yet. When they arrived they were in great condition but understandably tired from traveling halfway across the country, followed the recommendations including introducing the chicks to water. After about 2 hours they really sprung to life and now are having a great time. Over the years every order from Cackle has been excellent…5 Stars!

Great Chickens!
I ordered 15 of the hatchery choice and one Rooster in the fall of 2015. I received 16 hens and a Rooster. I still have the 15 hens and my dog got a hold of the rooster. It was a sad day! All of the chickens are very docile and great layers! The rooster was very protective of the hens and not too aggressive. The 3 types were Black Sex link, Rhode Island white, and Bard Rock. Extremely Satisfied. The hens are still laying every couple of days. I hate to get rid of them and I will might be disappointed if another batch is not as great as them!
