Bantams are the miniatures of the chicken family.
All Bantams sold as straight run only. MINIMUM ORDER: A minimum of 25 chicks Feb-March, 15 chicks for balance of year.

Cochin Bantams are just like the standard size except for being bantam.

Cochin Bantam Chicken Breed Information

The miniature size and counter parts to the Standard size Cochin chicken.  The color varieties of the Cochin Bantam Chicken have been admitted to the American Poultry Standard of Perfection from 1874 to 1977. All of these color varieties make excellent pets, show very well, very tame and kid friendly.  The Cochin is also known for being very good mothers to baby chicks.  The Cochin Chicken breed originated in China, known for their gentle disposition and profuse feathering.  We currently offer for sale 11 color varieties of the Cochin Bantam Chicken.  The Cochin Chicken is a docile breed and a good brooder and mother. They have a fluffy appearance and have feathered legs and feet. 

Order

Minimum of 5 birds of each breed variety/color.  Straight Run are shipped at 1 day of age, the chicks arrive at your post office at 2-3 days of age .
