A source of supplemental copper for chickens and turkeys. Acidified Copper Sulfate can be used in water and feed. It also reduces algae in drinking water lines, and is said to reduce stress and picking of feathers. Supplemental copper. 410 Grams
Note: Do not use metal containers when mixing concentrated product. At the distribution concentration, Acidified Copper Sulfate reduces algae in drinking water lines, and is safe to use in systems containing metal.

This review is probably more for Cackle Hatchery than the Acidified Copper Sulfate as I haven’t tried it yet. I specifically ordered from them because I saw they carried the 16oz (453.grams) Animal Science Product brand of Copper. What I received was two generic bags with no Brand and hardly any information on them and with only 410 grams in each bag. So apparently what they advertise isn’t always what they send.

Acidified copper is the bomb! Excellent for histo in turkeys, and an absolute dream solution for algae in water receptacles.
