White Wyandotte Chicken Breed Information

Admitted to the American Standard of Perfection in 1903. They were developed from the sports of the Silver Laced Wyandotte variety, in New York State lin 1887. The White Wyandotte chickens are a docile bird, clean legs, White feathers; Red rose comb, earlobes, and wattles. Noted for a nice rose comb that is suited for more northern climates resisting frost bite. They will on occasion go broody and they make excellent mothers. They work well in confinement or free range.
