This is our second order so far from Cackle. We’ve got 2 others scheduled for June. Between last order and this one, absolutely no complaints. The assortments of this and the rare breed special are genuinely wonderful assortments. Out of 15 chicks, I could easily count 7 different breeds. There were probably more. Bantams can be very delicate after shipping, to no fault of any hatchery. 14/15 arrived in AMAZINGLY great health. They immediately drank, ate, and ran around once warmed up. One was a little weak but took quickly to emergency nutri-drench and a pasty butt clean. We can’t wait to order more!

I ordered x15 of the purebred bantam assortment and I received them two days after I was sent the email that they had shipped. They all arrived healthy and alive and I was sent 17 instead of 15 which was wonderful! I got a great assortment of different types of cute bantams both clean and feather footed. Some with muffs and some without. Overall, the variety and health of all the chicks was amazing and the shipping was fast and on time. The customer service was awesome and I’ll definitely be ordering from Cackle again!

I ordered a different bantam special but it’s not available anymore so I’m just gonna leave my review here. I ordered some chicks from another Hatchery about a month ago. I had the worst experience ever! Half were dead when I picked them up at the post office and almost all of them died within hours. They were just very sick looking. I wasn’t gonna buy anymore chickens in the mail but I saw a good deal at cackle Hatchery and decided I would try one more time. Well I can say I’m so glad I did! The baby chicks were all alive and very healthy looking. I got one extra. And I got them a day earlier then expected. I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on purchasing from cackle Hatchery. It’s just so exciting to actually pick up live healthy chicks. I received my very small order of assorted purebred bantam chicks yesterday. I ordered the minimum of 15, but was sent three extra. All are active, lively, eating, drinking and getting around great. I wanted to express my appreciation for your customer service department. I ordered the Assorted Purebred Bantam Special Hatchery Choice (50)–but the Post Office ‘lost’ them for one whole day–and the delay caused us to lose about half the group. I called and spoke to Ali, and was very pleased when she was able to send us some more chicks to cover our losses.
