Itty bitty balls of fluff Review by Brenda
Received my feather footed bantams special today! 16 little chicks (ordered 15), unfortunately one was DOA. My daughter and I was getting them settled in to realize we only had 11 feather footed bantams, the other 4 was golden sebrights (no feathered feet). Gave cackle a call, super nice customer service, and they're shipping 4 feather footed bantams with our order that will be shipping Monday. Yay!! The little guys have a harder time with shipping but they seem to be doing well. All drinking and eating. And absolutely adorable!! Thank you cackle for wonderful customer service and of course the amazing little chicks! (Posted on 3/31/2017)
So Impressive Review by Kimberley Bryant
Just a short summary of the beginning of this journey. I had ordered from a different hatchery first for this year. Unfortunately of the 15 chicks I ordered, 7 died. 2 on the way, 1 immediately after arriving, 2 more 12 hours later and the last 2 about 36 hours after arrival after fighting to live. I had tried everything I could think of and even called the hatchery for ideas but still lost about half my flock. In researching online I found Cackle Hatchery and gave them a call after seeing such great reviews. The representative was extremely nice and even gave me advice about what other things I could have done for the 2 that were sick for so long. She walked me through their delivery process and even joked with me about my son's fear of roosters (he's 17 lol). In the end I ordered 15 more from Cackle. Before they were shipped I noticed we were going to have an unexpected cold snap and immediately started to worry. I called Cackle and they once again assured me they would be diligent and everything would be ok. The chick arrived this morning. 17 little feather footed bantams. Every single chicken is happy, healthy, chirping, and tottering about. They seem happier than even the healthy chicks from my order from the different hatchery. They came in a box within a box and even though it took 2 days to arrive the heat pack included was still warm. There was even a little bit of gel in the box for the chicks to feed on. I am super impressed and will recommend Cackle to every single person I speak with. I am so thankful for your diligence, professionalism, thoughtfulness, and care of your chicks. It's people like you who make the experience worth ordering. I cannot thank you enough! (Posted on 4/8/2016)
Thank You Review by Glen Puerto Rico May 2009
We live in Puerto Rico and received our internet order of 40 chicks this morning at the Post office in our small central mountain town. You made Rolando's day! He is in 7th heaven! Every one of the chicks arrived alive. EVERY one of them! He's been following your instructions to a "T". They all drank his warm sugar water, all are eating, and all are nice and cozy in the contraption he made with a light bulb ( I had to remind him that I think the "fluorescent" energy saving light bulb would not produce sufficient heat so he changed it). The chicks are all chirping happily in their new home in the mountains of Puerto Rico! We bought 40 eggs from a different company previous to this because we didn't think anyone would ship live chicks here. NONE of them hatched in our incubator. Somehow I find you on the interest and we were delighted that you ship to us here, so I ordered assortments to check it out. I'm a city boy from Ohio and New York, and honestly I didn't think these chicks would make it from Missouri to Puerto Rico. What a spectular scene to the eyes and ears when we opened that box! What a delight! They will be over-overloved and well taken care of and then they'll join the rest of our "zoo" of 10 dogs, 2w macaws, 3 horses including a new baby, geese, turkeys, chickens, roosters, fancy pigeons, cockateils, Australian parakeets and fancy ducks on our property here in the mountains. We already took a look at your website for new additions. Thank you for everything. (Posted on 12/18/2015)
