Description

Because we sell thousands of edible duck eggs a week, it is important we produce eggs efficiently and consistently. The Golden 300 Hybrid were developed to they lay more and larger eggs, have higher fertility and are calmer than the Khaki Campbell. The Khaki Campbell may be a good egg producer in small flocks but we were never satisfied with their production in our larger commercial flocks. Because of this inconsistency, we developed the Golden 300 Hybrid by crossing and utilizing the attributes of different duck breeds.

As adults, the females range in color from a very light brown to a very dark brown, often with areas of white on them. Males can appear much like a Rouen, or a dull looking Cayuga or with white and dark markings.

We can not ship these ducks to Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Purchased 15 of these sweet things. They all arrived in great shape. I am excited to see them grow!

  2. El Guapo

    Tough and fluffy breed

First waterfowl. They grew up faster then I expected. They have not started laying eggs but I do like the potential of eggs in winter. They are skiddish but it was probably because we didn’t socialize enough. Except for one of them, she’s like what’s the matter other ducks, they are cool. They are good listeners, we trained them to go in the duck coop at night with food and a phase.(ALL DUCKS GO TO BED!) Less hassle then the first two weeks. Shipping was great. They are definitely messier then raising chickens.
