Assortment Overview
This Hatchery Choice duck assortment includes available surplus ducklings from our hatchery inventory. Orders may contain a single breed or a mix of multiple breeds, depending on availability at the time of shipment. When possible, we try to include a variety of breeds, but this is not guaranteed.
What to Expect
This is a straight run assortment only, meaning ducklings are not sexed.

- No guarantee of color or mix
- Orders may include one breed or multiple breeds
- We do not track or record which breeds are included in each shipment
- We are unable to identify breeds after shipment

Shipping and Availability
Availability is based on hatchery surplus and will vary throughout the season.
Due to shipping regulations, we cannot ship ducks to Hawaii.
Hatchery Choice Duck FAQs
Will I get multiple breeds in my order? Sometimes, but not guaranteed. You may receive one breed or a mix.
Can you tell me what breeds I received? No. We do not track or record assortment contents.
Can I request specific breeds or colors? No. Hatchery Choice assortments are based strictly on availability.
Are these ducks sexed? No. All Hatchery Choice ducks are sold as straight run.

Great Experience
1st time customer; we ordered 6 ducks 3/2019 we received 3 different breeds! 1 unfortunately was DOA, but it happens sometimes. Their Customer service was great, they were very apologetic and refunded our money for the loss.
Today 11/2019 we still have 5 awesome ducks, healthy as can be with great temperaments. We have ordered 2 more times now for chickens! Thanks Cackle!

I just love Cackle Hatchery! The happiest and most lively ducks I’ve seen. We receive a mix of pekins, rouens, and Swedishs. They are all laying eggs at this point. Look forward to ordering from Cackle in the spring!
